Gulmohar Café is the brainchild of a passionate home cook whose culinary journey began with a stint in hospitality school, followed by a brief experience working at luxury five-star hotels. Despite later pursuing an MBA and spending 14 years in the banking industry, the love for cooking never faded. Eventually, the decision was made to return to his true passion—bringing together flavors, creativity, and joy through food.
The name "Gulmohar" is
The name “Gulmohar” is deeply personal, inspired by nostalgic memories of the beautiful gulmohar tree, known for its vibrant red flowers found across the Indian subcontinent.
As a child, the founder fondly remembers playing with the twigs and petals of these flowers, a simple yet cherished connection to nature that has now blossomed into the identity of the food truck.
